The Reunion will be as follows:

 

Friday 4th October from 1730

 

Meet & Greet – Tewantin Noosa RSL – Memorial Avenue.

Courtesy Bus runs every 30 minutes from 1700 till late every day of the week.

Meal and drinks at own cost.

 

Saturday 5th October – Do your own thing.

 

Tour of Cooroy Camphor Laurel Woodworking shed and mill yard.  0830 to 1000.  All sorts of Items for sale – e.g. Chopping Boards, bowls, kitchen utensils to name a few.

 

Other Suggestions -  Eumundi Markets – Brewery tours, Distillery Tours – there are plenty of them.

Drives in the hinterland – recommend historical pubs at Kin Kin or Boreen Point for lunch.

 

Reunion Dinner – Tewantin Noosa RSL – meal and drinks at own cost.  Time – 1730 

Dress – neat casual.

 

Sunday 6th October – Do your own thing.

 

Most of the recommended places to see are from 15 to 40  minutes drive from Tewantin.

 

Suggestions –

Noosa River Everglades Tour.  

Mt Timbeewah Lookout – for the moderately fit - Fantastic views.

Noosa River Ferry from Tewantin Marina to Noosa Beach & Hastings Street.

Great coffee and breakfast at MOTO in Noosa Junction – 0600 to 1300.

 

Fairwell Gathering

 

BYO BBQ at Ingenia Holidays Noosa - Caravan and Cabin Park – Cooroy Noosa Road – from 1730.

 

Accomodation Options:-

 

Caravan Parks – 

 

Ingenia Holidays Noosa - the best in terms of van sites, access and Cabin Accomodation.  Advise them when booking you are from Marks Division Reunion.

A discount will apply for our group.

Ingenia Holidays Noosa North – Moorindil Street – tight van sites.

Noosa River Holiday Park – Munna Point Noosaville – very popular – no cabins.

 

Other Accomodation

Any amount of Motels, Units etc in Noosaville – but none in Tewantin.

 

Notes:

 

If you are coming up or down the Bruce Highway don’t take the Cooroy turnoff to access Tewantin/Noosaville as it is very difficult to turn right over the rail bridge in Cooroy. 

Use the Eumundi turnoff instead.
